Thought I would share my 2 stone weightloss journey! I am 5 ft 7. I weighed 11 stone 10lbs at my biggest (bit bigger than the picture on the left) and now weigh around 9 stone 10lbs. I eat a low carb high protein diet. A typical day for me is oatmeal with banana, blueberries, honey and skimmed milk for breakfast. I eat a protein bar half way through my workout for energy. I often have a protein shake after the gym. Lunch and dinner is chicken or fish (usually salmon) with salad or veg. I snack on mainly fruit, nuts and yoghurt. I obviously have my cheat days. I train 5-6 days a week at the gym for a few hours. I aim to burn around 700 calories through cardio, then go on the weight machines and do sit ups / crunches.
It has been almost a year since I began. I did gain about 10lbs back at the beginning of the year but I’ve got my holiday to Tenerife soon so have been working my ass off and already am back to my slimmest. I feel so much happier and more confident in myself. My energy levels are amazingly high compared to how I used to be (lethargic, tired etc). I would recommend it to anyone looking to lose weight and get in shape too! 🙂
