The last 1-2 weeks before my half marathon, I really kicked my nutrition into gear, and I feel like having fueled my body properly was what really helped me push to the finish line. Now it’s become more of a habit – I’m getting back on track (eating probably like 90% clean), paying more attention to my macros (can’t use carbloading as an excuse anymore!), and I’m seeing/feeling the payoff in my body every day.

Since I started lifting I also stopped weighing myself, and while the scale was never a negative thing for me in the first place, it still feels great not caring about my weight. Now that I’m done training for my half, I can start to focus on reallly kicking my butt into shape and gaining muscle!!
