This is my second submission to this blog but this one is wearing regular every day clothing rather than a bathing suit.

Anywho, on the left I was roughly 17 years old, 255 pounds and just recently diagnosed with polycystic ovarian syndrome. On the right I am 22 years old, 210 pounds. I’ve lost roughly 17-18% of my weight and my symptoms have improved. I still have a lot of pain with my cysts and on top of that I was also diagnosed with endometriosis. I take metformin everyday but no birth control because they threw my body out of whack. This is mostly just eating smarter, better portions, and working out 3 days a week. My lowest weight was 205 but that was done in an unhealthy way from stress at work and with family and I ended up gaining 20 pounds back.

I got back on the bandwagon in December and so far have lost 10 pounds since 2017 started. I’m proud of my journey so far because even though it has been a very VERY slow one, it’s a journey that I’ve refused to give up on.
