-Height: 5 ft 1 in-Weight in both before & after: 237 lbs…

-Height: 5 ft 1 in

-Weight in both before & after: 237 lbs down to 175 lbs. My goal weight is 130 lbs

-How long did it take you?: It took me about 4 months of dieting and exercise. 

-Diet and exercise strategy? I cut out all sodas and junk food. No bread, cereals, pasta and definitely no take out food. I missed my burgers and large sodas. For exercise, I started with the Brazilian Butt Lift videos for the first 2 months and insanity for the next 2 months. 

Trust me, it was not easy. I don’t understand how I let myself go. Being over 200 lbs on a 5 ft frame was really hard on my body. I didn’t realize how bad it was until I went to my doctor for a check up. I was turning 30 and wanted to start a family and be healthy. 

My doctor weighed me and did a whole bunch of blood work. When my results came in, it was so bad. My doctor told me that I needed to do something about it. I was borderline diabetic, I had high blood pressure and the list goes on. I was horrified. You don’t realize the damage you have done to your body until you have a doctor tell you how unhealthy you are. 

I’m not going to lie. I cheated a lot on my diet in the beginning. I realized that I was only cheating myself of my health and any hope of starting a family. I buckled down and followed my diet. I did 2 shakes a day and 2 small portioned meals. Like baked chicken, salmon and salads. I snacked on a lot of veggies and fruits. I had one cheat meal a month. 

I’m so proud of myself. It is a lot of hard work but it is worth it. I now have my fiancé joining me on my dieting and exercise plan and he is slimming down too.
