”I’ve always been really in shape all my life. Unfortunately, I ended up falling off the grid and gaining a good 20 pounds within a year. At the beginning of July 2013, I decided that I wanted to get back in shape and run a half marathon. For the last 4 months, I’ve dedicated myself to eating smaller portions, running, working out, strength training, and just being an all around healthy person. I’ve lost 18 pounds and will be running my 3rd half marathon in February 2014. I’m happy with where I’m at now, but I know this is only the beginning of my journey. I continue to challenge myself and plan on running more half marathons and will soon be running a full one!
