I’ve struggled with my weight my entire life. I always tried to eat healthy but never had the motivation to keep up a consistent gym routine. Around junior year of college, I went vegan and began walking everyday. I learned that meat and dairy have a ton of saturated fat that can make it difficult to lose weight, and the weight pretty much fell off without any concentrated effort from me besides going vegan and walking. This is not a before and after but a “during.” It took about 9 months to lose 50 pounds, and with 50 more to go, I hope to be at my goal weight within a year. Hopefully I can submit again then!
