I can’t explain how I still feel like the girl to the left some days, but I do. Then I remember that I’m literally half the woman I used to be in a physical sense, and 10x the woman I once was.
I now go after what I want without any excuses, or hesitation. I set goals, and I do what I must to get what I need, and I want. This includes getting up each morning at 4 AM, half asleep, and run my 3-4 miles, heading to the gym to do 1.5 hours of strength training, then going to work and school. Is it hard? Yes. Some days I want to be lazy, but I know that I will miss that good ol’ workout high that I get each day.
I stay persistent when it comes to my meals too. I remember that my body needs real food, and healthy at that. I know that it’s ok to have that cheat meal every once in a while, but I must stay consistent to see progress.
Fitness is a journey. That’s what you must always remember.
