It’s hard to think I ever looked like that haha.
I’m 5’5 and 21 years old.
So about a 40lb weight loss over three years.
I was at my heaviest senior year of high school when that first picture was taken. I really didn’t realize how bad it was. I was just super lazy and who doesn’t love food. The summer before college I probably lost about ten pounds because I didn’t want to be overweight in college like I was all my life. I started walking a lot more once I got to college, because that’s how you get around! Walk to class, walk back to the dorm, walk to another class, walk to the dining hall for dinner. You know. Plus I was doing Zumba one day a week at the gym. Having a meal plan was a huge help too since I basically got three meals a day and my mom wasn’t around to buy a bunch of junk food.
Freshman year was where a majority of my weight came off. That was super easy. Since then I eat healthier and less. I’m moderately active, but not like I was. Basically I eat well enough and exercise enough to maintain my weight, but I’d still like to lose about 20 more pounds and become really healthy.
Even if I never lose another pound I’m a million times more happy and confident than I was in high school. I used to be bummed like all the time.
