UGW: happy and confident!
If I can do it, anyone can. I have been struggling with my weight for as long as I can remember. I was always known as the funny friend, and used humor to get the attention off of my weight compared to my twig best friends. In my freshman year of college, I became depressed and homesick, and used food to cope. I truly gained the freshman 15, putting my highest weight to 156. I finally decided to change my life for the healthier!
I have tried every fad diet in the book, but finally I learned the magic trick: clean eating and exercise. Who would’ve thought… Finally, I decided instead of looking for the quickest way to lose weight, I needed to make a true lifestyle change.
I have learned so much and gained so much inspiration from the Fitblrs I follow that I finally decided to become one of my own. My true role models on here are Sharee from #funeralformyfat and Katy Grace from #fitpersonality.
This first picture is me at my highest in May 2013. This picture is me from November 23, 2013. I was attending the same event, this time, 26 pounds lighter!
