I’m 19 years old, 5’5″, and I currently weight 143 pounds (I believe I weigh around 160 in the picture on the left–that was about a year/year and a half ago). I’ve struggled with my weight and eating habits for as long as I can remember. There are still days when I feel as though I set myself back or that I haven’t made that much progress, but then I look back at pictures like this and realize that even though I still have work to do, I’ve come a long way. I fit into my clothes better and feel more confident wearing shorts and other clothes I never would have dared walk outside in before. I mostly drink water now (soda whenever I go out to eat) and have tried to incorporate more fruits and veggies into my diet. For exercise I do blogilates on youtube, as well as cycling, jump roping, and going on the treadmill 3-5 days a week. It definitely hasn’t been easy, but I’m finding that it’s possible. Consistency is key.
